The Rite of Confirmation will be celebrated on Pentecost at our 10:45 a.m. worship service. This year’s class includes Alex Colby Cummings, Emily Elizabeth Knapsack, Amanda Lee Miller, and Olivia Elizabeth Youngman. Please pray for these young people as they make this commitment to our Lord.
St. Andrew will be honoring our 2007 high school and college graduates on May 27 at both worship services. If you are a graduating senior and will be able to attend one of these services, please call the church office to confirm that you will be there.
Golf Tournament
9th Year Event!
The Annual Golf Tournament of St. Andrew will be held on Saturday, May 12, at White Deer Golf Course. Tee time will be 8:30 a.m. with registration beginning at 8:00 a.m. The fee for the day is $65.00 which includes a cart, lunch, and gifts. Come alone, or bring your own foursome. Proceeds from the tournament will be used to help the church Youth Ministry. Matching funds will be provided by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. Make your reservations by calling the church office (546-3591) today. DEADLINE FOR RESERVATIONS & FEES IS MONDAY, MAY 7. Donations of gifts & prizes such as golf balls, tees, or golf towels may be brought to the office.

St. Andrew Prayer Garden
Be sure to join us in the Prayer Garden on Sunday evening, May 27, as together we remember those who have served in our armed forces, and to pray for those who are currently in the military. Special trumpet music will be presented by Mark Poblete. Following the service, everyone is welcome to light refreshments which will be served in the parish hall.

Spring Church Clean-Up
Saturday May 5

Bring your rakes, shovels, and work gloves for a spring clean up day to help beautify our church property! All helping hands will be greatly appreciated.
The Spring Rummage Sale
Sponsored by the Women of St, Andrew will be held on April 27 & 28. You may bring your good clean clothing and other items in good repair to the church beginning Monday, April 23. The Penn Strret Door will be open each morning for your convenience. Set up for the sale will be April 26 at 1:30pm & 6:30pm. The sale will be held from 8:30am to 3:00pm Friday and 8:30am to 11:00am on Saturday.
St. Anthony Volunteers meet at 125 East Willow Street in Williamsport at St. Anthony’s Center on the first Thursday of the month at 9:30 a.m. to prepare and serve a meal to those who are in need. Usually three volunteers are needed to help Sister Henry Lampert and her staff to serve approximately 50-75 people. Please call Tom Knight at 546-2423 to volunteer.
